Job summary

A community youth organization is looking for a full-time Talent Search Precollege Advisor in Fort Worth, TX, to recruit and support students in grades 6–12. The role involves guiding students through educational pathways, providing resources for college readiness, and maintaining case management services. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and experience in similar programs. Competitive pay of $18.78/hour with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in education, counseling, social work, or relevant field.
• Minimum one year of experience working for a TRIO federal program or similar.
• Proficient documentation and excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll eligible youth in the Talent Search program.
• Provide academic support and pre-college advising to youth.
• Conduct case management services including assessments and service planning.
