TPAPT is hiring for one of our chapters! We are looking for an experienced college essayist.

What you'll do:

1. Work via Zoom or Google Meet with students in grades 9 - 12 to create and implement a roadmap for college essays
2. Assist students with brainstorming, essay development, and supplemental essays
3. Proofread and copy edit as needed
4. Consult with parents to update on student progress
5. Collaborate with a dedicated team, engaging with great kids and supportive families

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English from a US 4-year college (MFA preferred)
• At least two years of experience as a college essay specialist
• Deep knowledge of common application essay prompts
• Writing samples from two of your past students
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to handle administrative tasks
• Exceptional communication skills
• Tech-savvy, confident, and professional in an online setting
