Job description

TPAPT is hiring for one of our awesome chapters! We are looking for an experienced college essayist.

What you'll do:

• Work via Zoom or Google Meet with students in grades 9 - 12 to create and implement a roadmap for college essays
• Assist students with brainstorming, essay development, supplemental essays
• Proof read and copy edit as needed
• Consult with parents as needed to apprise of student progress
• Work with a dedicated and enjoyable team, great kids and supportive families.

• Bachelor's degree in English from a US 4 year degree granting college (MFA preferred)
• At least two years as a college essay specialist
• Deep knowledge of the common application essay prompts
• Writing samples from two of your past students
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to tackle the administrative side of our college support programs
• Exceptionally strong communicator
• Tech savvy, confident, and professional in an online setting.

• Fully remote and flexible work schedule.
• Hours are variable and generally range from 3 - 15 hours per week
• Job Type: Part-time, Contract
• Compensation: $30-40 per hour
