Job summary

Tarrant County College (Trinity River Campus) is seeking a Counselor to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and individual/group guidance to support student success and well-being. This full-time role works at Trinity River Campus and reports to the TR Student Activities department.

The position requires a Master's in Counseling or related field and Texas licensure (LPC/LMFT/LCSW/NCC). Responsibilities include seminars, referrals, and collaboration with faculty to promote student

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, or related field
• Three (3) years' experience providing counseling
• Licensed in Texas: LPC, LMFT, LCP, NCC, or LCSW with unrestricted license

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals with social, emotional, and developmental issues
• Coordinates crisis intervention and referral services with campus partners
• Develops and presents wellness and student success seminars
• References community resources as needed
• Engages in research and follow-up to evaluate counseling outcomes
• Assists with academic advising processes
• Visits area high schools for seminars and information
• Collaborates with faculty to promote student success
• Analyzes information to guide vocational and educational planning
• Prepares and analyzes occupational and educational data for counselees
