Spectrum Plastics Group is seeking a College Co-op in the Engineering Department in Hermann, MO. This seasonal, full-time role (40 hours per week) supports engineers with data entry, charting, and development of inspection plans for new parts while gaining exposure to process, design, and quality engineering.

Candidates are juniors or seniors pursuing an engineering degree and must be willing to learn and contribute in a professional office environment.

Position Title

COLLEGE COOP – ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (Seasonal, full‑time 40 hours per week for 6‑month semester)

Reports To

Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering/Quality co‑ops will provide support to engineers. Co‑ops will be involved in process, design, quality engineering and administration of projects; assist in obtaining and reviewing information and approvals for processing of drawings, product data and samples. This position assists in communicating this information across all levels of the team.

Education

1. Junior or Senior in college courses – pursuing an Engineering degree.

Required Experience

Willingness to learn and gain experience in the engineering field.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing some duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Hours

This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. The position is limited to a 6‑month college semester.
