Job summary

CSUDH Toro Auxiliary Partners is seeking a part-time College and Career Mentor to provide direct student outreach, recruitment, mentoring, and college/career exposure at assigned ETS target schools.

Under supervision, you will assist students with ETS applications, coordinate workshops, and help maintain participant records, focusing on first‑generation and low‑income students to promote enrollment and success in postsecondary pathways.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student with good academic standing.
• Preference for students pursuing Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields.
• Experience or interest in college access, mentoring, and youth development.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and engage students at assigned target schools.
• Assist with ETS applications and eligibility review with Program Coordinators.
• Coordinate and support field trips, campus visits, and workshops.
• Maintain records of applications, outreach, and participant status.
• Support parent events, school events, and recruitment campaigns.
