Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN, is seeking an Athletic Trainer for a 12-month staff position to provide onsite care and management of injuries for student-athletes. You will collaborate with coaches, physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure safety and well-being.

This role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Athletic Training, BOC certification, and TN licensure eligibility. Travel with teams and budget management are included as part of duties.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field with two years’ experience, or Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• BOC certification.
• TN state athletic training licensure or eligible within 90 days of start date.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite medical coverage for home practices, games and events.
• Manage injuries and illnesses including evaluation and rehabilitation.
• Travel with athletic teams to conferences and postseason tournaments.
• Document patient encounters and maintain medical records.
• Educate student-athletes on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Assist in managing the athletic training budget and purchasing of supplies.
