NYC DOT seeks a motivated graduate-level or undergraduate College Aide to work in its Resiliency Planning and Management (RPM) unit. The position supports ongoing research and implementation efforts related to protecting transportation infrastructure and users against extreme weather and climate change, especially coastal flooding and extreme heat. Responsibilities include research, writing, analysis of climate change, adaptation, resilience, policy development, coordination with DOT units, scientific experts, stakeholders, and spatial data analysis using GIS, Excel, and other software. Additional duties involve strategic and administrative support for meetings with various stakeholders.
