CollegePass, a global leader in U.S. college admissions advising, is hiring experienced Part-Time Essay Editors to help high-achieving high school students craft compelling essays for top U.S. universities—including the Ivy League, MIT, Stanford, Georgia Tech, UT Austin, and others.

We’re looking for editors who can elevate student writing through precision, structure, and storytelling—while preserving each student’s unique voice.

Role Responsibilities:

• Edit multiple rounds of personal statements, supplemental essays, and honors/scholarship responses
• Improve structure, clarity, tone, and narrative flow while maintaining authenticity
• Collaborate with advising team to align essay content with the student’s broader application strategy
• Provide actionable, constructive feedback with a turnaround time of 12–24 hours per draft
• Work with 5–25 students during the admissions season (July through January)

Qualifications:

• Exceptional editorial skills with a focus on grammar, structure, and narrative development
• Deep understanding of U.S. college admissions, especially top-tier university expectations
• 2+ years of experience editing admissions essays, academic content, or related writing
• Strong written communication and time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree from an Ivy League or Top 20 U.S. university preferred
• Background in writing instruction, journalism, education, or admissions counseling is a plus
