Qualifications

• Associate Degree in counseling, social work, or related fields; or 2 years’ related student services experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with mentors and tutors at target high schools to ensure delivery of services in compliance with outreach program policies.
• Assist with student workshops, attend parent nights, and help counselors by introducing college-acceptance ideas.
• Plan and present high school recruitment presentations and verify eligibility and records with students.
• Support outreach services including after-school programs and assist mentors and tutors at local schools.
• Prepare high school academic records for guidance and referrals to tutoring/resources as needed.
• Inform students, staff, and community groups about the outreach program and recruit new participants.

Associate Degree in counseling, social work, human relations, liberal studies, social science, career development, education or related fields
