Job summary

Beacon Bank is seeking a Collections Clerk in Worcester, MA to manage delinquent consumer loans, contact borrowers by phone, document interactions, and apply revised payment schedules when needed. You will also process payments and mail while ensuring compliance with banking laws and internal policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong organizational skills. Compensation will be determined based on experience and location.

Performs outreach via telephone and documents contacts with delinquent borrowers to communicate delinquent status. May authorize a revised payment schedule. Is also responsible for processing received payments as well as, incoming and outgoing department mail.
• Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.

Location: Worcester, MA, Pittsfield, MA or Lincoln, RI

Purpose/Objective

This position is accountable for the collection of delinquent consumer loans in order to contribute to the soundness of the consumer loan portfolio through prompt collection of delinquent accounts while assuring legal compliance.
