Collections Support Analyst – Group Insurance
Job Description
Support Receivable and Suspense Management over an assigned book of business consisting of mid-level or complex customers
Accountable for issue resolution of Billing Related Customer inquiries through coordinated efforts with internal and external stakeholders
Support special internal functional projects and ad hoc requests
Able to work cohesively with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to support the billing day-to-day tasks, able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues/problems
Able to escalate, communicate risks/issues to supervisor and help with the resolution
Performs incident notification and escalation to ensure problems requests/issues are communicated effectively and receive proper management attention
Able to understand root causes for customer dissatisfaction and recommend new tools and or articulating how existing tools can improve overall customer satisfaction
Expected to adhere to client Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and departments products key performance requirements and any reporting
Basic understanding of how New Business, Enrollment and Eligibility impacts the billing function
Able to utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities while working under tight time constraints, possesses ability to work through ambiguity, and work effectively with global cross functional teams using interpersonal skills
Job Requirements
Remote: This role allows for remote work for most of your work hours
Meet Accenture’s Primary Residential Location (PRL) Policy for the Accenture office location
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Complex Billing, A/R Reconciliation and/or Collections
Minimum 2 years of experience with MS Office to include Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience researching, resolving, tracking and following up on financial issues inquiries such as outstanding balances
Direct customer service issue resolution and client interaction experience
MS Excel to include Reporting, Reconciling, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP
Prior experience in Medical/Insurance Billing
Experience with payment allocation software such as Salesforce and FIS
Professional Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
