Job summary

eClinicalWorks in the United States is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage and collect outstanding accounts receivable from customers and vendors. You will resolve customer issues, reduce AR, and support related billing processes.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Major in Business Administration is preferred
  • 3+ years previous A/R or billing experience is required
  • Sage Mas 500 experience is required
  • Experience with an automated Accounts Receivable and Collections Software system, BillTrust Invoice Gateway, and Sage Mas 500 experience is preferred
  • Project/Contract knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the collection efforts for accounts receivable portfolio as part of a Team Collection Goal.
  • Document daily collections activity to support team members.
  • Research and resolve account disputes and billing discrepancies, building long-term business relationships.
  • Perform account/payment reconciliations.
  • Monitor account collection inquiries through Support Cases.
  • Identify delinquent accounts and reduce active tasks.
  • Discuss payment plans/arrangements with customers.
  • Educate customers on Invoice Portal for self-service and payment options.
  • Respond to credit inquiries from external clients.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Position Overview

The Collections Specialist position is responsible for managing and collecting all of the outstanding accounts receivables from customers and vendors. In addition, they are responsible for resolving customer issues/concerns and reducing the amount of accounts receivables.

Job Functions/Responsibilities
  • Managing the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio as part of a Team Collection Goal.
  • Documenting daily collections activity allowing other eClinicalWorks Team Members ability to support collection efforts across all accounts.
  • Researching & resolving account disputes and billing discrepancies, building long term business relationships.
  • Performing account/payment reconciliations.
  • Monitor account collection inquires through Support Cases.
  • Identify delinquent accounts, reducing active support and licensing creating and monitoring internal tasks.
  • Discuss payment plan/arrangement.
  • Educate customers on Invoice Portal for Self Service and Payment Options.
  • Responding to credit inquiries from external clients.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
Experience/Education Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree required; Master\'s Degree preferred
  • Major in Business Administration is preferred
  • 3+ years previous A/R or billing experience is required
  • Sage Mas 500 experience is required
  • Experience with an automated Accounts Receivable and Collections Software system, BillTrust Invoice Gateway, and Sage Mas 500 experience is preferred

Compensation

Salary Range - $50,000-55,000 USD

This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range above, exclusive of potential bonuses. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as professional background, skills, education, and experience.
