Job summary

Premier Ambulatory Surgery Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Collections Representative to support cash flow by following up with patients and payers for services rendered. Reporting to the Business Office Manager, you will pursue payment from third party payers and self-pay accounts in accordance with established contracts.

You will perform follow up activities on accounts, identify billing errors from EOBs, monitor claims with insurers, and keep patient records up to date with actions

• Follow up on accounts to ensure prompt payment.
• Identify coding or billing errors from EOBs and work to correct them.
• Monitor insurance claims and contact insurance companies to resolve claims.
• Update the patient account record to identify actions taken.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As the Collections Representative, you will contribute to the company’s mission, vision, and values by completing follow-up and collections for patient services. Under the supervision of the Business Office Manager/Business Office Supervisor, you will obtain payment from third party payers and self-pay accounts to enhance cash flow and gather reimbursement based on established contracts.
