Responsibilities
- Review claims with outstanding balances and follow up with insurers and patients to collect revenues
- Analyze denials and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce bad debt
- Communicate effectively with franchise partners and other departments regarding the status of collections
- Document case activity and schedule follow-ups in required intervals to ensure accurate account management
- Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience required
- High School Diploma and additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and/or collections
- Minimum of 2 years experience in home infusion therapy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous remote work experience
- Detail-oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience
- Familiarity with MS Office suite and pharmacy applications
