Job summary

TULK | Swift·Wise·Counsel is looking for a Senior-Level Collections SME to support federal government missions. In this role, you will provide expertise in GEOINT collections, teach advanced concepts, and contribute to the development of learning solutions.

Ideal candidates will possess significant experience in Collections tradecraft and must have a bachelor’s degree related to the role along with a current Top Secret / SCI clearance. The role focuses on delivering quality training to adult learners in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Collections tradecraft.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching adult learners in classrooms.
  • Current Top Secret / SCI Personnel Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in GEOINT collections.
  • Deliver instruction for NGC courses and events.
  • Coordinate with course managers and government stakeholders.

About the Work

Senior-level SMEs apply advanced tradecraft in complex or novel situations and support intermediate and advanced GEOINT Tradecraft learning events.

A Senior-level Collections SME shall be able to demonstrate an extensive understanding of advanced concepts and skills by applying them in complex or novel situations. They shall apply deep tradecraft-specific skills in scenario-based learning events and exams. Bringing analysts of different GEOINT tradecrafts together in these learning events and exams will require the SME to understand how other GEOINT tradecrafts and multiple intelligence sources may be applied to address problems for today's policymakers, warfighters, and other federal agencies.

A Senior-Level Collections SME is primarily focused on providing support to Intermediate (3000) and Advanced (4000) GEOINT Tradecraft Learning Level courses, but is also capable of supporting Fundamental (2000) GEOINT Tradecraft Learning Level courses within the Foundations and Collections content area.

What you will do
  • Provide subject matter expertise in GEOINT collections requirements, collection strategies, foundational GEOINT data, space/counter-space activities, and tasking concepts.
  • Deliver GEOINT tradecraft instruction for NGC courses and learning events.
  • Maintain and update courseware, exercises, exams, and supporting learning materials.
  • Support development and implementation of new GEOINT learning solutions.
  • Apply mission-relevant tradecraft in scenario-based and problem-based learning events.
  • Coordinate with course managers, learning developers, instructors, and government stakeholders.
  • Support NGC governance, policy, partnerships, and special projects within the scope of GTLSS.
Required qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution related to the assigned area of expertise (e.g., GEOINT Collections Requirements and Strategies, Foundational GEOINT Data, or Space/Counter-Space Activities).
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of Collections tradecraft, methodology, and technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience delivering learning content to adult learners in a classroom setting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Personnel assigned to work with classified material and/or on government property must possess a current Top Secret / SCI Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Personnel working with classified information are subject to counter‑intelligence polygraph requirements and Intelligence Oversight rules.
