Collections Representative - Remote (North Carolina Only)

Assist customers in maintaining good credit standing with Decore-ative Specialties by collecting short-paid and outstanding balances on valuable customer accounts, while fostering long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers via email, letter, fax, and telephone
  • Assist account holders in maintaining their accounts in good standing
  • Set up recurring payments and process one-time payments
  • Establish payment commitments from account holders
  • Research creditworthiness and investigate payment information to clear shortages
  • Enter credit memos and communicate with delivery drivers
  • Follow standard procedures to reduce aging balances
  • Manage customer accounts with balances over $100,000 and handle specialized invoicing and payment procedures
  • Document correspondence and escalate accounts to outside collections when necessary
  • Add late fees or interest to delinquent accounts
  • Complete account setup and maintenance tasks as needed

Note: Candidate must reside in North Carolina.

Minimum Requirements

Reside in North Carolina. Experience in collections or accounts receivable preferred but not specified.
