Collections Representative - Late Stage Fort Worth

Job Overview

As a Collections Representative, your responsibilities include negotiating payment arrangements, conducting skip tracing, submitting accounts for repossession, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. You will handle accounts that are 90+ days delinquent, including charge-offs, and support members through credit counseling and debt resolution processes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of collection experience in auto, mortgage, or credit card portfolios, with a preference for late-stage collections.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of deceased, bankruptcy, and repossession accounts.
  • Understanding of collection laws and bankruptcy laws.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
