Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Collections Manager. This position is responsible for supporting their region(s) in meeting cash collections objectives. The Manager will interact with national, retail, strategic account portfolio managers to help remove obstacles delaying client payments and contact clients’ accounts payable to secure payment schedules and ensure invoices are in ready status. The Manager will also provide guidance on collections escalation protocols, WinTeam training regarding AR invoice and AR Domo reporting, and work with outside collection agents on assigned corporate collection clients.

Responsibilities

  • Chair and facilitate biweekly Accounts Receivable conference calls with regional operational teams.
  • Follow-up with operational team members and facilitate resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Provide weekly client status updates to senior management.
  • Guide and implement collections escalation protocols.
  • Interact directly with clients to resolve payment issues, if necessary.
  • Coordinate with outside collection agents on corporate clients.
  • Assist Treasury Cash Applications in posting payments, corrections, and researching unapplied payments and billing issues.
  • Compile monthly bad debt reserve items for analysis on “At Risk” clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • At least five (5) years of related Accounts Receivable experience with managerial responsibilities.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management technology.
  • Good judgment, discretion, and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years of billing and collection experience.
