Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Collection Group Leader to join our Revenue Cycle Management team in Centennial, CO. The role focuses on optimizing cash collections, resolving denials, and ensuring compliant billing practices within the AR workflow.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in medical collections, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Medical collections experience with managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• High school diploma or GED required; some college is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensures AR over 60 days is actively worked by aging teams.
• Works denials within 7 days of posted denial for denials team.
• Assists with posting, balancing, and archiving payments and adjustments.
• Researches denials and balances; corrects demographics for future collections.
• Monitors payer websites for updates and communicates changes.
