Job Description:

Location: Newark, Delaware

CoWorx Staffing is seeking energetic Collections Account Managers to join our client’s Recovery Department team!

Multiple Schedules – Call Center Environment

Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Two evenings per week until 9:00 PM required
Two Saturdays per month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)
Multiple schedules available

Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers with past-due accounts to negotiate payments and repayment plans
  • Work a minimum number of accounts per hour as set by management
  • Monitor assigned account queues and follow up consistently
  • Perform skip tracing to locate debtors when necessary
  • Accurately document calls and outcomes in the system
  • Ensure all communications comply with FDCPA and other federal/state regulations
  • Escalate complex issues to Team Lead or Operations Manager as needed
  • Contribute to a supportive team call center environment
Desired Background/Skills:
  • High School Diploma required (college degree preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, professional phone presence with negotiation skills
  • Goal-oriented and able to work independently under pressure
  • Proficient computer and keyboarding abilities
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
  • Knowledge of FDCPA, credit bureau reports, and skip tracing a plus
  • Bilingual skills a plus
