Cherokee Strategic Edge at Ft. Meade, MD seeks an accomplished Collection Operations Manager to lead the production and publication of intelligence reports.

You will focus on collection operations aligned to prioritized Army requirements, coordinating with analysts and collectors to ensure timely and actionable outputs. Ideal candidates have extensive HUMINT experience, strong writing and analysis skills, and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph readiness.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI and may be required to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Eight years of IC experience with five years in HUMINT and two years in HUMINT Collection Management.
• Knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations.
• Experience with all-source intelligence processes and data evaluation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate source management information and targeting packages to produce IIRs.
• Develop and assess HUMINT collection requirements and strategies.
• Research and present recommendations to operational staff.

Position Summary:

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an exceptionally qualified individual to serve as Collection Operations Managers in support of the U.S. Army Operations Group (AOG) at Ft. Meade, MD. The Collection Operations Manager shall review, edit, publish intelligence reports, and provide support to collectors focusing on collection operations against prioritized requirements.

Starting Salary Range for Collection Operations Manager:$130,000 - $135,000

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

• Integrate the results of source management information, targeting packages, and analytical products, manage the production of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) and focus collection efforts against prioritized Army requirements.
• Develop, implement, and assess HUMINT collection requirements and overall HUMINT collection strategies synchronizing the prioritization of requirements.
• Research, assess, and provide recommendations to the operational staff for presentation to internal and external audiences.
• Perform research and analysis that include raw intelligence data from AOG HUMINT activities, HUMINT programs of record, and Collection Requirements Analysis Tools and other analytical databases.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: (Basic Qualifications)

• Active TS/SCI and may be required to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Highschool diploma or GED
• Have at least eight (8) years of experience within the IC, must include knowledge and experience with intelligence operations and its various disciplines, functions, processes, and documentation, with five (5) years of experience in HUMINT operations and two (2) years of experience in HUMINT Collection Management.
• Knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations: intelligence collection, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and products.
• Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines pertaining to HUMINT reporting
• Experience with all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analysis
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art intelligence analysis tools
• Experience with intelligence automated systems, especially HUMINT systems.
• Excellent written communication, research, and analytic skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills for preparing, presenting, and communicating complex topics using available multimedia software and applications.
• Experience in delivering global situational awareness in support of planning, synchronization, decision making and execution of client missions
• Experience in managing research and coordination for projects.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in instructing and interacting with small groups on data and information requirements and coordination tasks highly desired
• Detailed knowledge of DIA, NSA, CIA, DEA, FBI, and Departments of Treasury and State programs and products highly desired
• Specialized training from any intelligence collection and analysis school or certification highly desired

Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
