Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Who We Are

Fanatics Collectibles is a global product and technology group dedicated to revolutionizing the world of collectibles. Every day, our team of product leaders, marketers, operators, and engineers work to create the ultimate collector experience across our brands and platforms.

Backed by Fanatics — the world’s largest sports merchandiser with more than 900 global sports relationships and exclusive licensing deals with leagues including the MLB, NFL, and NBA — we combine scale with an entrepreneurial mindset to build best-in-class experiences for collectors and partners.

Our Trade Marketing team partners closely with hobby shops, breakers, and retail accounts to bring products and programs to life at the local level, ensuring our partners have the tools, assets, and support needed to engage collectors.

What You’ll Do

As a Summer 2026 Trade Marketing Intern, you will support the planning and execution of trade marketing programs across hobby shops, breakers, and retail partners. This role provides hands‑on experience in marketing operations, partner coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration. (This is not marketing but logistics and operations operation focused.)

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of trade marketing programs across hobby shops, breakers, and retail partners
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets (POS materials, signage, digital toolkits, creative files) across shared platforms
  • Cross‑check product details, timelines, assets, and messaging to help ensure one clear source of truth before information is distributed to accounts
  • Track program milestones, deadlines, and deliverables using Airtable, spreadsheets, and shared trackers
  • Assist with vendor coordination and logistics support, including basic order tracking, quantities, and shipping documentation
  • Gather and summarize feedback from field accounts to help inform future programs and improvements
  • Conduct research and support idea generation for new trade programs, activations, and partner initiatives

Project You’ll Own

FFNYC Trade Marketing Plan (June)

You will take ownership of the master FFNYC trade plan document supporting programs such as Topps Trade Night and Topps Hobby School. Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a key point of communication with the FFNYC team
  • Tracking participating accounts
  • Managing key dates and deadlines
  • Documenting account requirements

Asset & Toolkit Coordination

  • Track FFNYC‑specific assets from initial request through creation and final delivery
  • Organize toolkits to help ensure accounts receive the correct materials at the right time
  • Conduct quality checks on key details (dates, logos, copy, eligibility criteria) before materials are finalized or shipped
  • Collect video feedback from participating accounts to support recap materials
  • Summarize outcomes for each program, including what worked well, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future activations

What You Bring

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Comfort working in spreadsheets, trackers, and shared documents
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence in following up with stakeholders to gather necessary information and keep projects on track
  • Interest in marketing, operations, sales enablement, project coordination, or the sports and collectibles industry

Preferred:

  • Previous internship or academic experience in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Google Sheets, or similar project management platforms

The hourly rate for this position is $27.00.
