Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Newark, DE is seeking a Margin & Collateral Analyst to support bilateral OTC derivative collateral requirements and related settlements. The role focuses on buy-side clients and collaboration with marketers/sales, prime brokerage, credit executives, middle offices and operations to enhance client services.

You will drive efficiency, process margin calls, ensure transfer eligibility under legal documents, and work with internal teams to resolve client inquiries and disputes

Responsibilities

• Remain client focused, able to work independently under strict deadlines with limited supervision, be control oriented.
• Process efficiently and accurately both outgoing and incoming margin calls and provide transparency to the client on the margin call when needed.
• Ensure all transfers agreed are eligible under the appropriate legal document.
• Respond to client inquiries, and coordinate with Front/Middle Office and core processing areas to facilitate resolution.
• Identify and resolve client disputes related to collateral and trade settlement discrepancies.
• Perform risk mitigation (operational, financial and reputational).
• Maintain and build excellent relationships with internal partners and external clients.
