  • Interface with Front office and Risk teams.
  • Work with settlement groups for cash and security movements.
  • Provide reporting on trade dispute metrics.

Department Overview

Collateral Management is a centralized support function whose primary role is to mitigate credit risk through the determination and calling of margin at a portfolio level. The team supports collateral arrangements for Derivatives, Repo, MBS, and PB. All aspects of collateral management are performed by the team: data management, margin calling, dispute management, portfolio reconciliations, collateral asset management and reporting.

Role Description
  • Dispute resolution and reconciliations
  • Partner with Global Markets, Middle Office, and Risk teams to address client queries
  • Interface with various Front office and Counterparty/Market risk teams
  • Work with various settlement groups to ensure proper cash and security movements
  • Engage in various projects focusing on regulatory requirements and internal optimization
  • Provide daily/weekly reporting on trade dispute metrics
  • Participate in various projects related to the ongoing regulatory requirements facing the industry
  • Interface and liaison with Front/Middle teams and the Risk Group regarding Regulatory and House Margin requirements
  • Maintenance of Supervisory Procedures
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of collateral management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or similar
  • Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives and Repo Markets
  • Working knowledge of Margin regulations
  • Understanding of the legal, credit and operational risks associated with Collateral

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer to employment.
