Job summary

Colorado State University’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance seeks Music Instructors to provide collaborative piano support for ensembles, instrumental and vocal majors. The pool is active year-round; decisions occur for fall, spring, and summer terms.

A 9-month base salary ranges from $46,000 to $50,000 with prorating for part-time work. Position details include rehearsing and accompanying opera, vocal ensembles, Freshman Voice class, and audition sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance or Collaborative Piano with at least 5 years of accompanying experience.
• Evidence of significant accompanying experience is required.
• Master's in Piano Performance is preferred for advanced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Rehearse and perform with students for lessons, performances, studio classes, master classes, competitions, and juries.
• Accompany opera rehearsals and performances.
• Accompany daily vocal ensemble rehearsals and performances.
• Accompany for Freshman Voice Class.
• Accompany for auditions as requested.
