Job summary

Lightheart Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, is seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist to empower families and couples across Washington. You will provide outpatient therapy for children, couples, and families, conduct culturally sensitive assessments, and support clients toward healthier functioning.

Join a multidisciplinary team, engage in case consultations, and participate in ongoing supervision and development while ensuring ethical practice and confidential care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Therapy, or Social Work.
• Experience working with couples, families, and children under 12.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing.
• Committed to ongoing professional development, including supervision and continuing education.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient therapy to children, couples, and families based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support stability.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to deliver holistic care.
