Job summary

HEARTLAND-BUSINESS-SYSTEMS-LLC is seeking a Collaboration Engineer to develop, implement, and support collaboration services for consulting clients. You will build customer-focused relationships to identify challenges and define specifications to arrive at the best solution.

You will work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, contribute to product selection and standards, provide support and administration, stay current on vendor certifications, and meet annual billable hour goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education or experience required.
• CCNA or Equivalent certification required.
• Working knowledge of Cisco Webex, Zoom Calling, or Microsoft Teams Voice.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative and proactive project support to HBS’s account base.

Description

Position Summary:

The Collaboration Engineer will develop, implement, and support collaboration related services and solutions for consulting clients. Build a customer-focused relationship with client to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution.

Roles and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

• Work as a member of the HBS Collaboration Team that provides consultative and proactive project support to HBS’s account base. Contribute to and impacts the assigned customer accounts positively.
• Collaborate across multiple internal teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of the scope of work.
• Contribute to product selection, configuration standards, and best practices and educate the sales team members on these products and services to enhance the sales process.
• Provide support, maintenance, and administration for HBS’ customers.
• Work in a team atmosphere between regional and virtual practices while at all times maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Provide time estimates and project scopes for systems related projects.
• Maintain current vendor/industry specific certifications and stay current on new products and solutions.
• Meet annual billable hour goal, as defined by HBS. This number may change over time as the business evolves.

Required Experience:

• 6 months to 1 year in a technical related field, internship, or equivalent

Preferred Experience:

• At least one year in a technical related field
• Experience working as a consultant

Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

• Associates degree, equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience
• CCNA or Equivalent
• Working knowledge of one of the following Collaboration solutions (Cisco On Prem and/or Webex, Zoom Calling, Microsoft Teams Voice)

Preferred Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/certifications
• CCNP, CCA-V, VCA-DCV, MCA
• Microsoft Teams Voice Certification (MS-721)
• Zoom Competencies
• Cisco Webex Calling Professional
