We aim to support individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) by addressing their medical, behavioral health, and recovery needs through prevention, integrative treatment, and community engagement.

Position Summary: We seek an experienced Collaborating Psychiatrist (part-time) to provide clinical oversight, guidance, and consultation to our multidisciplinary team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to impact mental health interventions significantly.

Schedule: 5-10 hours per month, with potential for increase.

Ideal Candidate: A meticulous, compassionate team player with excellent communication skills, resilience, and a curiosity-driven approach. They should bring a positive attitude and a strong moral compass to their work.

Essential Duties:

  1. Provide clinical guidance and supervision to mental health professionals including MNHPs and LCSWs.
  2. Offer expert consultation on complex cases, treatment planning, and medication management.
  3. Ensure adherence to best practices, ethical guidelines, and standards in mental health service delivery.
  4. Maintain accurate medical records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure in Kentucky (other states a bonus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a psychiatrist, preferably with SUD/MAT experience.

Additional Information: This is a mid-senior level, part-time role within the healthcare provider industry, primarily serving hospitals and health care organizations.
