Job summary

Pomelo Care, a leading virtual medical practice for women and children, seeks an experienced physician to provide medical oversight and clinical support to a multi-disciplinary team focused on perinatal, infant and women’s health outcomes.

You will supervise advanced practice providers, review charts, and collaborate to deliver evidence-based care in a fast-moving startup environment. Requires SC licensure, pediatrics/family medicine residency, and ABP/AAFP board certification.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited US medical school.
• Residency in Pediatrics or Family Medicine with additional pediatrics experience.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in South Carolina.
• Board certification by American Board of Pediatrics or American Academy of Family Physicians.

Responsibilities

• Maintain collaborative supervision relationships with advanced practice providers as outlined by state requirements.
• Provide clinical support to advanced practice providers.
• Complete chart reviews of care provided by advanced practice providers.
