Position Overview:

The Medical Director at SEROTONIN Anti-Aging Centers is responsible for overseeing medical operations at the Center. Responsibilities include reviewing healthcare laws and regulations, implementing and overseeing medical protocols, monitoring budgets, and developing strategies to improve communication between medical professionals and clients.

*Candidates must reside in and be licensed to practice in South Carolina and be willing to obtain a DEA license with the center's address. Ideal candidates are experienced in hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

Medical Directors oversee the operation and success of medical, clinical training, and prescriptive/lab services. Daily duties typically include:

  • Collaborating with medical team members
  • Assisting in training and promoting medical staff
  • Ensuring compliance with federal rules, regulations, and codes
  • Enhancing cooperation among physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and relevant departments
  • Maintaining relationships with medical suppliers to ensure the Center remains stocked and operational
  • Evaluating medical team coordination to ensure success
  • Keeping licenses and certifications up to date
  • Delegating prescriptive authority and medical tasks appropriately
  • Conducting regular chart reviews
  • Providing in-person or telecommunication consultation for medical issues, emergencies, or referrals
  • Supervising medical practitioners with appropriate skills and training
