Qualifications

• Experience building or maintaining web applications in ColdFusion.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, especially in a SQL Server environment.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and web application fundamentals.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems directly.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn new tools and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing ColdFusion applications.
• Build new functionality using a more modern approach, centered on REST APIs, static front‑end assets, and open source technologies.
• Write and maintain SQL Server queries and application‑side data logic as part of day‑to‑day development.
• Help modernize existing systems in practical, incremental ways.
• Participate in technical exploration, prototyping, and solution design.
• Work in a team with a wide variety of technical backgrounds, interests, and specialties.
• Help choose, test, and stand up the tools and environments needed to move development forward.
• Add jQuery after Javascript.
