Job summary

CGI is seeking a Senior ColdFusion Developer to join a high-performing Agile team supporting a large government agency in Lafayette, LA (also Knoxville, TN) with a hybrid work model.

You will lead the maintenance and modernization of legacy ColdFusion applications, mentor developers, and collaborate with clients to deliver practical, scalable solutions. US citizenship is required; CGI cannot sponsor international hires for this position.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing and maintaining ColdFusion apps.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor tech teams.
• Strong communication translating tech to clients.
• Experience with modernization roadmaps, migration plans.
• Familiar with Agile and DevSecOps.
• Hands-on SQL and database design.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering.
• 8+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technical teams in maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of ColdFusion applications.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize legacy ColdFusion systems for reliability and performance.
• Develop and implement modernization roadmaps and migration strategies.
• Communicate technical concepts to clients and leadership clearly.
• Participate in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle.
