Job summary

MEDLOG Cold Storage in Rincon, GA, seeks a Cold Storage Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily operations in a high-volume, temperature-controlled facility. The role requires strong organization, food-safety knowledge, and proven team leadership.

You will enforce BRCGS, HACCP, FSIS and OSHA standards, manage inventory with FIFO/FEFO, and train staff. Collaboration with QA, logistics and customer service is essential to safety, quality and on-time fulfillment.

Qualifications

• BRCGS, HACCP, FSIS and OSHA knowledge a must.
• Experience in supervising high-volume cold storage operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to BRCGS Food Safety standards and Food Defense protocols.
• Maintain compliance with FSIS import/export requirements and HACCP processes.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met.
• Oversee blast cell management, product handling, and storage procedures.
• Monitor and maintain inventory health, including FIFO/FEFO and traceability.
• Track and report warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, throughput, and shrink.
• Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff for efficient workflow.
• Promote safety and accountability in line with OSHA standards.
• Manage labor resources to meet demand and reduce overtime.
• Open/close the facility as needed and ensure security.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Cold Storage Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a high-volume, temperature-controlled facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety standards, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

This role will work on the 2nd shift

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to BRCGS Food Safety standards and Food Defense protocols.
• Maintain compliance with FSIS import/export requirements and HACCP processes.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met.
• Oversee blast cell management, product handling, and storage procedures.

• Track and report on warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, throughput, and shrink.
• Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability in line with OSHA standards.
• Manage labor resources to meet operational demands and reduce overtime.
• Open and close the facility as needed, ensuring security and operational readiness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Coordinate with logistics, quality assurance, and customer service departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a cold storage supervisory or lead role.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED); additional certifications in food safety or logistics a plus.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, FSIS, and OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume operations with attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work weekend rotations and flexible hours as needed.
