Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Maryland to accurately select products from the warehouse, prepare items for shipping, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include reading orders, assembling shipments, labeling, operating an electric pallet jack, and ensuring product integrity in cold environments while standing for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product 10 lb - 75 lb and up to 100 lb.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constant bending and twisting while operating equipment.
• Work in very cold or freezer environments.
• Stand 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble orders from stock and palletize in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move to correct slot locations and dock for staging.
• Handle products with care and report damage.
• Perform daily equipment checks and cleaning tasks.
• Sign in/out for equipment used.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF policies specified in manuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
