Job summary

Swiss Premium Dairy, a DFA brand, is seeking warehouse operators to perform picking, pulling, building orders and palletizing, with safe operation of equipment in temperature-controlled environments. Shifts rotate every two weeks, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

DFA emphasizes internal promotion and competitive pay tiers. Starting pay is $29.00 per hour, increasing to $31.00 per hour after training and qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in operating a forklift in a high efficiency environment
• Minimum six months experience related to manufacturing environment
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery
• Operate various material handling equipment safely within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment
• Work at any station or line as assigned; comply with safety and quality standards
