Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a Cooler/Safeway associate in Logan Township, NJ. The position runs Sunday-Wednesday from 10am to 8:30pm with a wage of $21.39 per hour.

You will work in a temperature controlled environment (34–36°F) loading and selecting cold chain products, lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly, and ensuring accurate labeling for same/next day production. The role requires reliable attendance, ability to follow directions, and the flexibility to work overtime.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Working in a temperature controlled environment between 34–36°F.
• Manual lifting of cold chain totes up to 30 lbs.
• Standing/moving for duration of shift.
• Picking cold chain products and placing them in cold chain totes.
• Palletizing/stacking totes in an orderly manner.
• Cycle counting bulk product.
• Loading production line.
• Labeling/removing labels for same day as well as next day production.
• Follow SOPs and GMP policies.
