Job summary

Envision Cold is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the warehouse, contributing to a safe, efficient operation in a cold storage environment.

You will clean, sanitize, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and handle waste while following OSHA/FDA guidelines and wearing PPE. This role demands physical stamina and a strong work ethic in a dynamic, sometimes noisy setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in cold/freezing temperatures.
• Strong attendance and work ethic.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize various areas of the warehouse including storage areas, aisles, break rooms, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and restroom fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
• Remove debris and dispose of any trash and recyclable materials appropriately.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or operating cleaning equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation regulations and guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies, such as OSHA and FDA.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
