Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs is hiring immediately for a full-time Materials Dept Clerk to support airline, e-commerce and retail customers. Work in a 38-degree cold room and assist with inventory, requisitions and timely deliveries. Weekly pay, free lunches, and later a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days are offered.

Candidate must be able to stand in cold environments, lift 25–50+ lbs as needed, and work a flexible schedule in a 24‑hour operation. Prior HACCP and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Must be accurate, organized, and have attention to detail.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stocks and rotates equipment
• Responsible for product inventory and ensures proper rotation
• Fills requisitions and delivers to proper areas
• Complete VPS
• Expansion of requisitions
• All job duties require working in the freezer (cold environment, temperature of 10° below zero)
• Certain schedules may require transportation of product
• Perform additional duties as needed
