Job summary

Interstate Warehousing is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and distribute products in refrigerated and/or frozen spaces. You will read orders, operate forklifts, load/unload items, and ensure accurate inventory and records.

Responsibilities include sorting, labeling, weighing or counting items, and maintaining adherence to company standards and safety guidelines while supporting shift work on 3rd and 4th shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating electric forklifts.
• Ability to read shipping/picking orders.
• Experience weighing/counting items per standards.
• Able to work 3rd/4th shift in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Reads shipping or picking orders to determine items to move, gather, or distribute.
• Positions forks and transports pallets to designated areas using forklifts or hand-trucks.
• Loads and unloads products onto/off pallets, skids or lifting devices.
• Sorts and places materials on racks or bins by size, type, or product code.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Lifts, counts, sorts, and places items on pallets per fill instructions.
• Prepares and records order fill tickets and truck logs per company standards.
• Records amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items to ensure conformance to standards.
