Job summary

Lineage Windsor is seeking a 1st shift warehouse associate for our freezer facility in Windsor, CT. You will read computerized work orders, locate items, move pallets with forklift and pallet jack, and verify shipments using RF scanning to ensure accurate counts.

Applicants must lift up to 40 lbs, withstand cold temperatures, and maintain strict safety standards. The role offers a path for growth within Lineage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Identify products by reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet IDs.
• Follow instructions in Lineage Logistics' language and policies.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Work in -20F to -25C or up to 100F/37C with PPE.
• Lift a minimum of 40 lbs and handle pallets safely.
• Be flexible to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
• Manage a noisy environment and use required safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders to determine quantities and products.
• Locate items in the warehouse and prepare pallets for shipping.
• Change over pallets for picking and inspect items for damages.
• Document and report damages to supervisors as needed.
• Pack, seal, label, and count items using RF scanner.
• Alert leads to any product issues and follow directions to fix.
• Assist in warehouse cleanliness and organization at shift end.
