Job summary

Danone is hiring a Cold Storage Forklift Operator in a distribution center environment in the United States. The role involves operating forklifts, adhering to GMP/FDA standards, maintaining inventory and paperwork, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work with SAP, warehouse software and MS Office tools, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely product handling while collaborating with maintenance and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn all functions of job and complete required trainings for position within a reasonable amount of time.
• Basic PC skills and proficient use of software systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven decision making ability and the capacity to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and maintain records.
• Ability to work various hours/shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP, FDA, QA, safety, and other plant standards and drive OE initiatives.
• Complete required paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Maintain FIFO inventory of raw materials and finished products.
• Operate warehouse management systems and SAP/other systems as needed to print pallet tickets.
• Participate in PMs; assist in diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds of dock equipment.
• Monitor equipment and address minor malfunctions to protect quality and service.
• Communicate with leadership and maintenance on recurring issues and repairs.
• Engage in PMs and root cause analyses to drive sustainable corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through SOPs, WIs, and standard maintenance tasks.
