Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator in Westborough, MA to move products and materials safely using electric-powered trucks. You will load and unload pallets, record weights and item conditions via RF systems, and perform daily equipment checks while following safety protocols.

You’ll work with drivers, manage battery charging, and take part in safety inspections. The role requires lifting 40 lbs, adaptability to cold or warm storage environments, and a fast-paced facility mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20F to 100F.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, transports, load and unload to a designated area.
• List materials and record weight, counts, and condition of items via RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process.
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at charging station.
