Job summary

UDA - United Dairymen of Arizona is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to move product and inventory safely across our warehouses. You will inspect equipment, stack pallets, load outbound shipments, and ensure accurate paperwork while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

The role requires one year of forklift experience, a high school diploma, and certification; ability to work in a cold environment is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move product and inventory safely across warehouses.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklift and related equipment.
• Stack pallets, pull outbound loads, stage and prepare paperwork.
• Verify loads, pallet counts, and documentation for outgoing shipments.
• Move product from staging to trailers and ensure pallets are intact and undamaged.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow SOPs, HACCP, and GMP policies.

Job description

When you're shipping to customers all over the world, things can get hectic. It takes a special navigator to ensure we know product is on-hand and where it needs to go. That's where our Forklift Operators come in!The Forklift Operator will ensure the safe and efficient movement of product and inventory throughout UDA’s warehouses.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Perform Cold Storage Warehouse Forklift Operator duties as assigned.Communicate and work closely with team members, Warehouse Management Team to accomplish goals.On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklift or other job specificequipment.Re-stack pallets as necessary, pull outbound loads, stage and prepare paperwork accordingly.Put away new production and record accurately.Accurately check in and load driver/truck including verification of load number, schedule, pallet numbers, box counts, etc.Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areasEfficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers or other shipping containers.Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and perform trailer inspections on iPadVerify no broken pallets, replace as needed.
