Job summary

Precision Medicine Group in Frederick, MD is seeking a Facilities & Cold Storage Technician to monitor environmental storage units, perform preventive maintenance, and repair refrigeration equipment for the Repository department.

The role requires following validation programs, completing 15-point inspections, responding to alarms, and supporting on-call rotations; you’ll work in a cold freezer environment and handle lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years’ related experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor freezers, refrigerator and room temperatures as assigned by Manager.
• Respond to freezer alarms in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of refrigeration equipment.
• Repair refrigeration equipment and related systems as needed.
• Respond to equipment failures during/after normal hours and participate in on-call rotation.
