The Cold Mill Mechanical Utility role at Nucor Corporation in Huger, SC, seeks a hands-on technician-in-training to support mechanical maintenance, housekeeping and outage work on heavy equipment. You will work rotating shifts and overtime as needed to keep the mill running safely and efficiently.

• Experience in an industrial or a similar career field.
• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform general housekeeping/shop organization and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Support the Cold Mill with mechanical equipment and issues in a demanding work environment.
• Train and gain experience with the aim of becoming a mechanical technician; rotate shifts and overtime as needed.
