Overview

dnata catering U.S. is looking for a Cold Kitchen Assembly to join our Houston team supporting the IAH Airport.

As a Cold Kitchen Assembly team member, your role is to meticulously prepare and assemble cold food items for airline passengers, following standardized recipes and hygiene standards to ensure quality and safety. You will collaborate with the culinary team, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of food items, contributing to excellent passenger food experiences.

You Will

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow rules for entry, attire, and hygiene, in compliance with HACCP/GMP guidelines.
• Read instructions to determine food portions and supplies.
• Adhere to sanitation and food handling policies.
• Portion and garnish foods, inspect for contamination.
• Store or dispose of unused food properly.
• Prepare cold food items from refrigerator to assembly stations.
• Store completed trays for transport to aircraft.
• Work regularly in cold environments (35-40°F).

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Other duties as assigned.

Salary depends on experience, qualifications, and location.

You Have

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED, with 1 year of cold food assembly experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends.
• Good organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Valid food handler's certificate or equivalent.

Demands & Environment
