You will read technical drawings, adjust tools, and monitor quality output while collaborating with Tool and Die Makers to support production of hammers, up-sets, and quills. This is a full-time on-site role with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic cold header machines.
• Form and cut off coil stock for precision production.
• Make machine adjustments to reduce stock size.
• Adjust cold header machines with multiple tools and multiple transfer fingers.
• Utilize cut-off tools and multiple dies effectively.
• Use common hand tools including box and end wrenches, micrometers, scales, bench grinders, optical comparators, indicator plugs, depth and go/no-go gauges, cutting tools, and technical drawings.
• Apply shop math and standard shop practices.
• Monitor machine quality output by checking parts frequently.
• Collaborate with Tool and Die Makers in development and production of hammers, up-sets, and quills.

• Set up and operate automatic cold header machines

• Form and cut off coil stock for precision production

• Make machine adjustments to reduce stock size

• Adjust cold header machines with multiple tools and multiple transfer fingers

• Utilize cut-off tools and multiple dies effectively
