Title: Cold Fusion Application Developer

Overview

The Project Manager/Technical Architect develops comprehensive transition plans outlining milestones, deliverables, and knowledge transfer activities, and establishes governance models such as RACI matrices to coordinate between teams. Implement structured change control processes consistent with ITIL or equivalent best practices, conduct release readiness reviews, and ensure deployments occur within defined maintenance windows. Coordinates with IHS stakeholders for timely issue resolution and participates in regular meetings to review reports, discuss capacity planning, and address operational or resource concerns. Support disaster recovery exercises and provide after-action reports with recommendations for improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verify integrity and availability of server resources
  • Apply patches, hot fixes, and server upgrades
  • Implement minor system enhancements for stability, usability, or performance
  • Conduct server tuning, performance optimization, and database backups
  • Develop new application modules or integrations
  • Application UI/UX enhancements
  • Maintain source code in government-approved version control system
  • Document all changes with associated tickets and change requests
Required Education and Skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe ColdFusion (2023)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019
  • Knowledge of IIS on Windows Server 2019
  • Experience with web application development and maintenance
  • Familiarity with version control systems
  • Understanding of Section 508 compliance requirements
