Qualifications

• Prior experience setting up cold forming or multi-hit machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of tooling, dies, and machine adjustments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot cold forming multi-slide machines for production runs.
• Set up inertia and hydraulic vertical presses and verify operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications.
• Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and machine calibrations.
• Run production monitors to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Identify and resolve mechanical or production issues quickly.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to optimize performance.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep machines safe and reliable.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Duties

• Setup and troubleshoot cold forming multi-slide machines for production runs
• Setup and trouble shoot inertia and hydraulic vertical presses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications
• Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and machine calibrations
• Run and monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Identify and resolve mechanical or production issues quickly
• Work closely with operators and supervisors to optimize performance
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are in safe working condition
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
